At Big Fig, we make all our products with plus-size sleepers in mind. Our hybrid design combines high-density poly foam and 50% more coils than a standard hybrid mattress. It all adds up to no sagging or sinking, just pure comfort. The Helix also features a hybrid design and high-density memory foam, but specific engineering for plus-size sleepers is not as apparent.

Big Fig supports up to 1,100 lbs; Helix can handle 1,000 lbs. That sounds like a close contest, but the reality is a little different. When we stacked 270 lbs of weights on each mattress, the Big Fig held firm. The Helix didn’t do too badly, but did show more compression.
