When Should I Open My Premium Plush Micro-coil Topper?
The timing of unboxing your Premium Plush Micro-coil Topper is similar to the guidelines for unboxing your Big Fig Mattress. We recommend you open the shipping box within ONE WEEK of receiving it. Once it reaches your doorstep, you open the box, let the topper decompress, and enjoy a good night’s sleep.
Have you assembled your Big Fig Mattress?
The Premium Plush Micro-coil needs to be placed on top of a mattress so if you are also opening your brand new Big Fig mattress, watch this first!
Setting Up Your Big Fig Premium Plush Micro-Coil Topper
Step 1: If your mattress is ready to go, it’s time to move the Premium Plush Micro-coil Topper box onto the mattress. While the topper is not nearly as heavy as the Big Fig Mattress, it may be helpful to have a second set of hands around to help maneuver and get everything perfectly into place!
*To protect your mattress from outside dirt you may want to lay a towel or sheet under the topper box before removal.
Step 2: Lay the box on its side and lift it from the bottom to help the topper slide out. Your topper will be sealed inside with two layers of plastic folded in half and then rolled up.
Step 3: Then, unwrap the outer layer of stretch film from the topper. Do not cut this plastic, as this can potentially cause damage to the topper.
Step 4: You will see the topper begin to unroll as you start removing the outer layer. Begin to unfold your topper until it’s fully spread out across the mattress.
Step 5: Once it is fully spread out, position it squarely over your mattress.
Step 6: While using the provided tool, carefully cut the plastic around the topper. As you cut all the way around the topper, it will decompress and quickly fill to full size.
Step 7: Finally, pull the plastic out from underneath the topper.
Step 8: Position the corner straps of the topper around each corner edge of your mattress, ensuring that the straps are tight and flush with the side of the mattress to ensure it stays in place.
Step 9: Add your mattress protector (yes, you really should have one), sheets and bedding accessories and you are ready for a supportive yet cushy night of sleep!
